Top ten reviews

  1.  I read many reviews before I purchased this and was glad I did. The one review said it works best with damp (not wet) hair and I would agree. I was searching for a lazy way to straighten and dry my hair at the same time. I don’t spend much time doing my hair in general and needed a quick way to smooth/ straighten. This definitely works great for me (natural wavy, thick & long hair). My hair is smooth and straight when I use this, the air flow is not incredibly strong and would probably take too long (for me) to use this with wet hair, but I air dry for a bit then use this. It’s different from a normal hairdryer but easy to get the hang of. I’d definitely recommend this.
  2. Same trouble as others have noted: the black plastic on the barrel flecks off and gets everywhere—sink, face, hands—and the little black spots are hard to clean up. Otherwise love this product!
  3. I'had no problem with them tangling in my hair. I highly recommend this
  4. attachments are really nice. The one for adding body is my fav. Both attachments are easy to use. They change out easily. When the attachments are off you get a soft blow drying effect.
  5. I had a similar brush dryer and thought I would give this brand a try. This one doesn’t seem to have as much power for drying hair. But I think that is probably good because my hair isn’t as dry as it was. Several of the short hair bristles fell out when I first used it initially. On a very positive note it was light which I was looking for, I just need to have a little more patience for drying time.
  6. purchased the revlon dryer brush about a year ago, but when I saw this one with the root volumuizer tip, my fine hair and I were ready to upgrade! Fast forward to my first attempt to dry my hair with this and it’s safe to say it was a huge downgrade. This dryer brush lacks power. I have fine shoulder length hair, so drying it doesn’t take very long. I own a dyson blow dryer and my Revlon brush dries my hair even faster than that. By comparison, I couldn’t even finish drying my hair with this Conair brush. It is so weak and slow by comparison, that it would take at least 3x longer to dry my hair with this. Also, the handle is super long and awkward. You’d think with such a long handle it would pack more power, but it’s very underwhelming. I do not recommend this product. Spend the extra $10 and get the Revlon one. You won’t regret it.

  7. I am so glad I bought this! I started out with one of the pink ones (different brand) that I ended up giving away because it had no heat settings and it got very hot very quickly. This one is SO much better! It has all the heat settings a hair dryer has. It doesn’t get super crazy hot and I actually find it pretty light considering the size of it. It dries my hair pretty quickly and does a great job. Highly recommend!!!!

Bottom line

This INFINITIPRO BY CONAIR Detangling Hot Air Brush is the perfect addition to your hair styling tools. The replacement one has a working cool shot button, but it isn't truly cold air that blows out as with Conair's traditional hair dryers. The air is warm, just not as warm as the lowest heat setting.

 Prose

The vertical airflow vents allow for optimal performance along the oval shaped barrel, which smooths the hair out while adding volume at the root and soft bouncy curls at the ends. 6-foot professional line cord. Bonus: volume pik attachment included for extra root lift.

Conse

It is so weak and slow by comparison.
